Saraswati Vidya Mandir High School Halog (Dhami) started on 1st May 1987 by Himachal Shiksha samiti in a rented place with four students and two teachers. In the direction of himachal Shiksha samiti and good efforts of local management committee the school made progress. After 10 years in 1996 a local village man donated 2 kanal lands for school building.
School managing committee started building construction. In 28th February 1997 some classes were shifted in new building. Many local and outsider donators helped in this work in 2002 school was upgraded up to 10th. In 2004 the school managing committee purchased more than four acres land adjoining the school complex. The school showed excellent results in Himachal school education Board. Now the school is running up to 10th standard and four hundred twenty students are studying here.
The school provides good facilities of transports, IT Lab, science Lab, Digital Class rooms, Library, and well furnished classrooms..
